A&D FPL
Aged and Disabled Federal Poverty Level Program
A California Medi-Cal program that provides no-Share-of-Cost coverage to seniors and people with disabilities whose income is at or below 138 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.
The A&D FPL program is the difference between Medi-Cal with a large Share of Cost and Medi-Cal with none. It gives no-Share-of-Cost coverage to aged or disabled Californians at or below 138 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. Many families who assume they earn too much actually qualify once allowable deductions are applied.
